Society has lost connection to direct food sources. Will Allen, the founder and CEO of Growing Power Inc. in Milwaukee is trying to change that disconnect, with his non-profit organization and urban farming initiatives. At his two-acre farm on Silver Spring Dr., Allen highlights his hydroponic and aquaponic growing methods, and explains sustainable practices to grow, process, market, and distribute food. Student Producers: Alejandro Santiago, Kenneth Williams, Jeff Morris, Joseph Pfaff, and Jibril Gagale.
