This summer, COD proudly presented our first cybersecurity camps for middle and high school teachers and students this summer through a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Security Agency (NSA). These camps are grant-funded and offered to participants at no cost. The 2017 GenCyber camps covered various aspects of cybersecurity, informing participants about privacy, security and safe browsing while on the Internet. Participants were introduced to cyber ethics and engaged in hands-on sessions to tackle realistic data security problems. The 2017 GenCyber camps were presented through a collaboration between College of DuPage Continuing Education and Computer and Internetworking Technology (CIT).
