This presentation is the third in a four-part series describing how to plan and conduct a records series inventory. Robin Riat, CRM, a Senior Records Analyst at the National Archives and Records Administration, gives an overview of several different records inventory methods you might use when conducting an inventory, including using existing inventory resources, process maps, questionnaires, interviews, and site surveys. Robin also addresses some of the more common inventory data fields you might collect when conducting a records inventory. The Summer School for Records Coordinators: Records Inventory session was first presented live as part of a Web seminar in August 2013. Accessibility: This video is fully captioned for audio accessibility. For visual accessibility, a detailed text description of the video's visual presentation suitable for screen readers is available here: www.archives.gov/records-mgmt/transcripts/records-inventory-2013-august-pt-3-description-transcript.pdf
