This project presents a design and implementation of monitoring and speed controlling for single phase induction motor using PLC technology and SCADA monitoring. Also implementation of the hardware and software for speed control of induction motor using V/F control technique. One of the basic requirement in this project is PWM invertor. The PLC co-operate with the operational parameters to the speed required by the users and monitor system during the steady stat operation and transient operation. A MATLAB model was successfully developed and implement the V/F control on a PWM invertor fed to single phase induction motor and the torque was found to be a consent for various speed. Many application of induction motors required motor seed control functionality, trip signal on/off/reverse command analog/digital I/O signal.
