Feel free to contact me at thehspessays@gmail.com (the hsp essays @ gmail . com) HSP stands for Highly Sensitive Person. High sensitivity or sensory processing sensitivity in technical terms is a temperamental or personality trait. That means that it is inborn and persists throughout an individual's life. About 15-20% of people have the trait and they're referred to as highly sensitive people or HSPs. The trait is very much real. For more information read The Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron. It was first published in 1996, with the latest edition in 2020. This is a channel dedicated to spreading awareness about the trait, about the importance of temperamental differences and about psychology in general.
