Lake/Airport
Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the request for Lee and Tina Pownall to build
a dock at Campground 1-17
Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the request to install 50 amp, 30 amp, and 20
amp outlets in the overnight camping area by Star Electric Service at a cost not to exceed
$7,455.16
Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the quote from Louis Marsch, Inc. to oil and
chip the Marina and Boat Trailer parking lots at a cost not to exceed $21,469.25 to be paid
from Ward 4 funds
Water/Environmental
Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the modifications to the SCADA System by
Hydro-Kinetics at a cost not to exceed $9,880.00
Motion to recommend to the City Council to approve the purchase of the three-year maintenance
and support plan from Solar Bee at a cost not to exceed $15,600.00
Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($369,003.54)
• Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.) mandates NO action shall be taken on subject matters not listed on the agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the subject matter to a future Council and/or Committee Meeting. If anyone wishes to address the Council, please provide your name and address, limit your comments or presentation to three (3) minutes, and avoid repetitious comments. Thank you.
Motion to go into Closed Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1) and (3) to discuss the upcoming
resignation of the Water Superintendent and to consider the appointment of Marlin
Brune to fill the upcoming vacancy in such public office and the compensation for such appointed public officer; and also pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(11) to discuss the claims
and demands of Andrea Conrath, former City Human Resource Manager, and her probable or imminent litigation against the City that her attorney indicates in her January 28, 2022
letter addressed to the City Attorney; and to include any and all subject matters relating to
said claims, demands, or probable or imminent litigation including but not limited to, subject
matters relating to investigation, attorney-client reports and communications, consultant
reports, discovery, settlement negotiations, settlement offers, Illinois Freedom of
Information Act requests, status of case, offers, issues, attorney opinions and
recommendations, pre-trial and trial strategies, and to include the following persons to be
present during all or part of such closed session, namely: the Mayor, Aldermen, City Clerk,
City Treasurer, City Attorney (via Zoom), Police Chief, Attorney Jamie Westbrook (via
Zoom), Water Superintendent, and such person or persons as the Mayor may decide during this City Council regular meeting and/or during such closed session.
