Many piano students struggle with collapsing finger joints and no bridge support. A good practice strategy, as shown in this video, is to play combinations of the following: differing articulation in each hand (legato vs. staccato), different dynamics in each hand (forte vs. piano), various rhythmic patterns (same rhythm in both hands) and various rhythmic patterns (different rhythms in each hand).
