The Venture March was composed by Nahan Franko in 1909 and dedicated to Alfred G. Vanderbilt. The Venture was an award winning coach owned by the Vanderbilt family. Many of the included photos of the coach were taken at Oakland Farms in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The final photo was taken at the Breakers Stable and Carriage House, where the Venture lives today. The photos of Alfred Vanderbilt come from the Library of Congress Digital Archives. The photos of the Coach Venture come from the Rhode Island Photographic Collection housed in the Providence Public Library Digital Archives.
