Frost Free Fridge Freezer: How to Defrost manually after Fan Stuck and Stopped Working ; Bosch Classixx [ ice up fan blocked (#218) My Bosch Classixx electronic frost free fridge freezer stops working every few years due to the ventilation/circulation fan stuck by the frozen ice. Every time I open the freezer door and let the ice melting for about 16 hours, then I remove the two covers inside the freezer. It takes about 22 hours before I can install everything back. You only need to do this if your fridge becomes warm and you don't hear the fan running every time when the compressor is running. You may also find ice at the bottom of your freezer. Please note that during the automatic defrosting cycle, it is normal for the compressor running alone for about 10 minutes.
