In the spring of 1996, Donald Forrest of Del'Arte's Education Through Arts Project and Lori Dengler of Humboldt State University collaborated with the students and staff of Peninsula School to produce the "Samoa Peninsula Seismic Vaudeville Extravaganza: Adventures in Myth Time" that combined drama, science and oral history into a community preparedness event.
