If you are 16 or over, you can see new information in your GP health record. You can see this through the NHS App, or other patient online services. For example, your doctor might not let you see your record if there's a good reason. You can always speak to them about this. They might want to speak in person before adding something like test results to your GP record. If there is information that you don't want to be able to see on your GP health record, you just need to speak with your doctor or other staff at your GP practice. You can also tell them if you notice anything wrong or missing from your record; for example, some medication you take or an appointment you had. These changes only apply to information about you. Carers should speak to reception staff if they need to access records for someone they care for.
