In May 2016, Abdulrahman Aljwirah, Jonathan Decoomen, Brian Doherty, and Clayton Piechowiak had the opportunity to work on Senior Design project for our clients at Means industry. Means Industry is a leading company in producing clutch plates around the world. Means industry needed help designing a machine that automatically feeds their products "clutch plates" through different processing lines. So, our group was lucky to get the opportunity to design, build, and assemble this machine presented in this video, and obtain great experience working with other fellow engineers and operators in means industry. This machine was programmed to accommodate fifty different part numbers. Also, runs on a rate of 60 part/minutes. And, feed the clutch plates to the line with no damage to it. ...more
