1. Symptoms Common symptoms of allergies in dogs include red skin, itchy skin, hair loss, licking, excessive crying, vomiting, and diarrhea. Acute allergies can lead to shortness of breath, shock, or even death. 2. Daily Care Tips There are several allergy triggers. 1) Food Dogs are often allergic to animal proteins in pet food such as chickens. Read pet food labels to find causes such as protein source. If you get your dog tested for allergy, it’s easy to find the cause. If he is allergic to certain proteins, food with hydrolyzed protein could help. Hydrolyzed protein can prevent allergic reactions. 2)Chemicals Chemicals around us can worsen your dog’s allergies. Then, check each item. Make sure things like his dishes or toys are made of safe material. Make sure no detergents or bleaches are left when cleaning his bowls and your house. 3) Dust, Mold, Hair, etcOther than that, check your surroundings. Dogs can be allergic to pollen mostly in spring.  Try not to go out for a walk when pollen is high. At home, dust, mold, or hair can cause allergies. You can wash beddings and use a dehumidifier. 4) Medicines It can be rare but some dogs are allergic to vaccines or a flea collar. It can cause breathing problems or shock. If your dog gets a vaccine, check his condition carefully for at least 1-2 hours. If he shows abnormal signs such as breathing problems, take him to a vet right away.
