Northeastern University Fall 2021 Mechanical Engineering Capstone Winner of the Gorlov Prize for Innovation (1st place) The purpose of the Swarm Carrier capstone is to design, manufacture, and demonstrate a system to deploy and recover several sUAS from a carrier UAS. After six months of analysis, design, software development, and validation, we successfully completed a system capable of autonomously transporting, deploying, and reintegrating groups of drones from a larger, carrier platform.
