The population in Lagos increases daily. The ammenities are not increasing at the same rate , especially when it comes to housing.The result is that many who come from the villages,other states or neighboring countries have no one to live with on their arrival.They make do with wherever they can sleep.It is sometimes under bridges , uncompleted/abandoned buildings or bare land.Conditions are bad.No water.No security.Poor Hygeine. Many of the people who come into Lagos often have no skill or education.Pretending that these people are invisible and will sort themselves out, only postpones an evil day. Lagos State needs to address it.We all need to address it. Meet Hauwa Abdullahi is one out of many.We should do what we can to help people like her.By doing so we actually help ourselves. ...more
