On April 1, 2020, we had our first ever Virtual Spirit Day. The theme was rainbows. Our children joined others from around the world by making rainbows to decorate their homes. The rainbows are way to spread joy and hope during the COVID-19 pandemic. Last month, families across Italy began posting banners, paintings, and drawings with rainbows that included the message “Tutto andra’ bene.” That translates to “Everything will turn out OK.” We can take the image of the rainbow a BIG step further, because we are people of faith. The story of Noah and the flood talks about Noah and his family and the animals being cooped up together in the ark. Sound familiar? At the end of the story, God places a rainbow in the sky to signify the covenant, the promise, between God and God’s people – that’s us! Enjoy these images of the beautiful children who make up our school community. Their messages of faith, hope and love appear throughout. Stay well and God Bless!
