This Spring baseball game video clip was recorded on a VHS recorder from my C-Band satellite dish and receiver in Spring 1987 or '88. James was breaking into the major league at the time, and I was so proud to be his friend and watch this happen. He truly was an amazing athlete. His major league baseball career with the San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Montreal Expos and others, was so much fun to watch! James could have been drafted into the NFL as well. He lead the State of California as a running back at Santa Maria High School his senior year, just prior to signing with the San Diego Padres. ...more
