Tom Stora is a US Army Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam. Attached to an Aerial Reconnaissance Unit, Stora helped provide critical lifesaving air support to our ground troops. Stora was awarded Two Bronze Stars and a number of other accommodations for his Meritorious Service. Stora has been diagnosed with COPD, PTSD, and Parkinson’s disease. He also suffers knee and shoulder damage which are inoperable due to the surgery risks from his COPD. Stora also has physiological and neurological deficits as a result of a brain tumor which was removed in April of 2016. Stora’s health has been steadily declining over years making it difficult to complete even the smallest of daily chores. The Parma American Legion Post 703 turned to The Home Depot when Tom's daughter presented Post 703 a Wish List of projects in need of completion around Tom's home. #choosetoserve #teamdepot ...more
