BW Integrated Systems' Tisma LSC 40 Cartoner in this application is designed to pack slim, sleek, and standard aluminum cans in 4 to 24-pack sizes. With up to 6 lanes, cans infeed based on the pack size. The servo-driven rotary carton set up utilizes vacuum suction cups to erect and place the cartons onto a conveyor ready to load. After cans are grouped into pack sizes, a servo-driven H-Bot loads the cans into the erected carton. Next, the flaps are applied with hot-melt glue, compressed for sealing, and the complete carton is discharged.
