Modular construction of the new vacuum distillation unit at BP Refinery in Castellón, as part of the VDU Project.
The unit comprises thirteen (13) modules with a total weight of 4000 tons
Up until its mechanical completion and pre-commissioning, all works were made on a construction yard outside the refinery. Once they were completely fabricated, they were transported and lifted on its final position at site. Finally, all installation and interconnecting works as well as the finishing tasks with the modules already installed were made (touch-up activities,tests...). …...more
